Baltimore Aquarium

I spent an awesome day exploring this national treasure, it's like the Louvre of sea life, and actual marine biologists are right in the walls wearing scuba gear on the many levels of the huge complex.

A unique experience

I was in this wedding and shot it for fun merely as an observer. I limited myself to one lens (Canon EF 50mm f1.4), and no flash with the exception of a couple, and my mom was kind enough to shoot a few (the shots including me in the wedding party). Having said that, I still feel these shots capture the magic of the day, and the diversity of the many stages. They hired Daniel a wonderful and skilled professional photographer for the day, so I stayed out of his way and looked for candid moments.

shrines

Something comforting about these shrines, not that I would be building one anytime soon, but I like photographing these yard adornments.

washed out

Just a strange ride home along the lake, shifting weather patterns, and very odd light.

33 Coupe

This cool Ford was at the wedding I shot Saturday, and it still has a bullet hole from it's gangster days in Philly...True story

cloud wall

I had to get the camera back out to capture these impressive clouds I saw when traveling East from PA on the Thruway.

Roadwork series Continued

I shot a wedding in PA, so I kept my camera handy for some more "drive by" shots.

Student design made the cut

A student of mine designed this cover for the school and 1600 will be printed, this was the proof that the printer sent me. I'm proud of her...

ROADWORK

I started a new Gallery section on my site called "ROADWORK", it's simply quick shots from the car or sidewalk that capture a moment or view that brings back memories or just speaks to me in some way. I got the idea from Linda McCartney, who did a whole book based on her fascination with this form of photography.

A Day of Inspiration

My Art Department Colleagues and I were fortunate enough to be granted a professional day to visit three Rochester based galleries. This day was important for us to reconnect as artists, and see what other professionals are creating in the art world. Trips like these help with lesson formulation, curriculum development, and overall artistic stimulation. These pictures are a few highlights, as well as some things that I simply found aesthetically pleasing.

View of Zoo after closing

I attended a party at the Seneca Park Zoo after it's regular hours of operation.

recognized by fellow blogger

I thought is was cool that the little story I did on Memorial Day some how made around the area. Enough so that it was recognized by someone I've never met and shared with others.
