mallow roasting and Blue Moon

little explorer

My son and I explored "the jungle, where the creatures are", as he calls it. I was proud of how far he made it, and a shoulder ride was only necessary on the last hill....Love this stuff

new lens

First shot with my new lens, I'm liking it.

quick angles

Shooting at high ISO from the car is still fun to me, even if the shot is rough, there's a dynamic in the composition sometimes that is unpredictable.

Baltimore Aquarium

I spent an awesome day exploring this national treasure, it's like the Louvre of sea life, and actual marine biologists are right in the walls wearing scuba gear on the many levels of the huge complex.

A unique experience

I was in this wedding and shot it for fun merely as an observer. I limited myself to one lens (Canon EF 50mm f1.4), and no flash with the exception of a couple, and my mom was kind enough to shoot a few (the shots including me in the wedding party). Having said that, I still feel these shots capture the magic of the day, and the diversity of the many stages. They hired Daniel a wonderful and skilled professional photographer for the day, so I stayed out of his way and looked for candid moments.

shrines

Something comforting about these shrines, not that I would be building one anytime soon, but I like photographing these yard adornments.

washed out

Just a strange ride home along the lake, shifting weather patterns, and very odd light.

33 Coupe

This cool Ford was at the wedding I shot Saturday, and it still has a bullet hole from it's gangster days in Philly...True story

cloud wall

I had to get the camera back out to capture these impressive clouds I saw when traveling East from PA on the Thruway.
